“I wonder if there was more dreaming in other stressful historical times. We’ve had them about every 80 years; the revolution, the civil war, the second world war and now (on time). The generation theory of Strauss-Howe would indicate that we are in a fourth turning point and that an unknown major event is still to come. Regardless of what you think of it, historically we have not returned to an era of the good feeling without going through a massive calamity greater than the last turning point. Hold on, it could get worse. “
