Our story began in Sweden in 2009, but since then our Menstrual health and pelvic floor strengthening products have found their way all over the world. Our goal was and is to provide safe, environmentally friendly, and budget friendly options for women and everyone who needs them. Because menstrual hygiene is not a trend, it is a necessity. That is why we are also committed to education, activism and general wellbeing.

2021 – INTIMINA won two PRmoment.com Awards in 2021 in the categories Healthcare / Pharma Campaign of the Year and Media Relations Campaign of the Year! We are incredibly proud of what we achieved with our Period campaign.
2021 – Intimina has won The Drum Awards for Marketing in the category ‘PR’ award of the year again with the “Seen & Heard” campaign.
What actually happened during this campaign? Unlike the global women’s health and hygiene FMCG brands that are also looking for vote share in this space, we haven’t planned a blockbuster ATL campaign to saturate commercial breaks, billboards, and social feeds. With a limited budget, we had to find a creative implementation that enabled conversation and participation. The message had to be simple, universal, provocative and easy to understand. So we turned to color, contacted Pantone and created red. In a short period of time, the color period became synonymous with freedom, stigmatization of periods, open conversation about menstruation and much more.
2021 – Ziggy Cup is always a trooper winner – it has been if Design award 2021 in “Product – Beauty / Care” Category, and there is no doubt about its excellence. But the only creative and business dream that came true was ours Intimina x Pantone collaboration.
2021 – Intimina wins the award for the best global creative idea and the PR Breakthrough Award for the Period campaign and the collaboration with Pantone.
Last year, INTIMINA teamed up with The Pantone Color Institute to create Period: an original shade of red that represents a steady flow during menstruation. The color with the name Period has become synonymous with a stimulating and dynamic shade of red, which promotes the positive mood of the period and serves as a banner for INTIMINA’s “Seen + Heard” campaign. The global idea of two brands was developed to allow anyone, regardless of gender, to freely and proudly talk about their period, start conversations and promote a more personable and accurate representation of menstruation in the culture. The campaign generated 721 media coverage, including coverage on The Guardian, appearances on the television show Good Morning America, and many more respectable and major world media outlets.
As part of the “Seen + Heard” campaign, INTIMINA donated £ 2,000 to ActionAid, an international charity that works for women and girls living in poverty
2019 – Ziggy Cup won Silver A ‘Design Award in the Beauty, Personal Care and Cosmetic Products Design category of the International Design Academy, the grand jury of the A ‘Design Award & Competition, which is made up of internationally influential press representatives, established designers, leading academics and prominent entrepreneurs.
The A ‘Design Award, the most influential and largest design award in the world, recognized us for the excellence of design on an international level.
2019 – Ziggy Cup won the UK Pharmacy MVP Award in the category “Sexual Health ”for products that really change people’s lives.
2019 – Lily Cup compact won the Taste for Life Women’s Essentials Award in the Feminine Hygiene category. This was our big award breakthrough in the US, and we couldn’t be more proud!
